I Posted Videos

I've recently posted videos to my YouTube channel (which I really only use to watch others' videos)!

One is an original written by me, of course.

The other is a mashup/cover thingy.    My cousin and I mingle "A Thousand Years" by Christina Perri, "Flightless Bird (American Mouth)" by Iron & Wine, and some original lyrics.  She helped me write the original lyrics and she also helped me sing it!  (Mashing up doesn't go so well with just one voice.)

Check out the two videos here and here!  Thanks.  :)

The Fault In Our Stars

I don't know about all of you, but I fell in love with this book as soon as I started it.  I couldn't be happier with the film version of the story - superb!

If you liked this movie/book as much as I did and do, then you MUST, must, must, listen to this Exclusive TFIOS version of 'Tee Shirt' by Birdy.

I seriously am on the verge of spilling buckets of tears just from the song!

New music!! You're welcome.

I'm so happy to have found some new tunes!  Like most times, I'd like to give a shoutout to Spotify.  I seriously love you.  With all my heart.

                                  Marry me.

Okay, I'm good now.

So, back to the subject of this post.  New music.  Go listen and love it all!!

 1. Classic by MKTO
 2. She Looks So Perfect by 5 Seconds of Summer

3.  Limbo by Daddy Yankee

4. Talk Dirty by Jason Derulo feat. 2 Chainz

A little bit of mainstream music is okay......right?

Where Have I Been??

We all know that I'm just throwing this out there, because I don't even think the same people view my blog more than once.

But there's a question that needs to be brought down from the blog title into the blog body:  Where Have I Been??

That's a good question, not even I know where I'm at 100% of the time.  Like right now...I think a drug dealer lives on the floor above me.  So, I could be in a potentially life-threatening place right now.  Or maybe that really is just taragon and stuff he's growing, you never know.

Anyways, since I've been gone awhile, I'll catch you up some.

Nothing much has happened. PHEW.  Glad to get that over with.

If you're bored and feel like listening to something without an judgement at all then check out this link.  If you like it, then it's me singing...if you don't like it, then I will see to it that the dumb girl stops her 'singing'!

I guess I have other things to share, maybe a few songs that I'm in love with??

 Yeah, let's do that.

I'm ashamed to admit it, but I get excited when this song comes on the radio.  It's so addicting. "Been around the world, don't speak the language..."

I adore Christina Perri and her music.  Especially this one.

And yet another song that I cannot skip when it comes on the radio is this beauty.

Have a great evening, random stranger! Follow my blog, maybe? Maybe, maybe?

Singer-songwriter. That's me.

Or at least, I'm a wannabe singer-songwriter.

Check out one of my most recent songs, I've written!  Leave me some feedback and love.  :)

Gotta love radio.

I was driving from college to work today,
and just happened to be on a channel that was playing a song that was not 'Summertime Sadness' or 'Same Love'.  [I seriously happened to tune into a station that was playing a remix of 'Summertime Sadness'.  As if we aren't hearing it enough already.]  Naturally, I kept listening to this song that hasn't been overplayed.  [Yet.]

[Songs can get on the verge of 'disgustingly overplayed', like those two above.]

That wasn't the only reason I kept listening, though.
It's a new single from an amazing artist.  I seriously have quite a few faves by this artist.

Okay, okay, the artist's name is.....
...
...
...

Jason Derulo!

I promise you that I am not referring to 'The Other Side'.  Honestly, I'm kind of sick of that one too.  It's about to get 'disgustingly overplayed', in my area of the world.

The song I heard today is titled 'Marry Me'.  I'll have to be honest, at the moment that I tuned into it I only stayed because I heard a really goofy line.  You'll know the line, when you hear it. [I think.]

But, check it.  The song.

[P.S. The 'goofy line' is literally the first line. I just thought it was...interesting.]
